Who We Are
Charles Yeung
Senior Pharmacist
Charles graduated from the Victorian College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor's in 1977 and later pursued a Masters of Pharmacy in 1980. He has passionately worked at Imes Pharmacy since 1989 serving many loyal patients and their children with their health needs. Now semi-retired, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful grandchildren.
Dean Vlahopoulos
Pharmacist Manager
Dean is a pharmacist with experience in both community and hospital environments. He was formerly President of the RMIT Pharmacy Student's Association and graduated from RMIT University in 2018 with Honours where he then went on to complete his internship at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. In addition to his internship, he completed a postgraduate, Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice at Monash University. He is a published author of a research paper “Community pharmacists’ recommendations for natural products for stress in Melbourne, Australia: a simulated patient study”. Dean is dedicated to providing a high standard of care for all patients and is driven to continually grow and expand his knowledge.


John Ly
Pharmacist
John was awarded a university scholarship to study Bachelor of Pharmacy and Commerce at the Victorian College of Pharmacy. During his time there, his leadership efforts saw him elected as the President of the Victorian Pharmacy Student's Association and awarded the Monash University Gold Medallion in 2007 for Outstanding Community Spirit Award for his commitment and contribution to improving the life of pharmacy students on campus and overseas.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia formally recognised his contribution and leadership in the pharmacy student movement in both Australia and overseas with a Certificate of Appreciation in 2011.
John was elected in Seoul, South Korea as Chairperson of the Young Pharmacists Group for the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) www.fip.org in 2017 which represents 140 national organisations and over three million pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists around the world. He has hosting the inaugural leadership training workshop in Glasgow Scotland in 2018 and Abu Dhabi in 2019.
July Paw
Pharmacy Technician
July is passionate about volunteer services and is an active member of the Refugee Minor Program assisting refugees to settle in Melbourne. She also has experience working in Aged Care facilities.
July is currently training to become a qualified Dispensary Technician.


Larisa Tkalich
Pharmacy Technician
Larisa has experience working in Aged Care facilities and finds fulfilment in helping others in need. She speaks fluent Russian, Greek and Swedish.
Her passion includes painting, hand-crafting and travel.
Larisa is currently training to become a qualified Dispensary Technician.
Valerie Chen
Pharmacy Student
Valerie is currently completing her pharmacy studies at Monash University and looks forward to learning how to provide best practice patient healthcare.
